State environmental officials are explaining how they're handling a water problem in Montgomery County.

They're holding a public hearing Wednesday night on their solution for residential well pollution.

It's being held at 7:00 at the Limerick Township Municipal Building.

The issue started in 2010.

DEP officials originally investigated 150 homes but they found only five wells with levels of the chemicals TCE and PCE that are too high for drinking water.

The wells are located in Limerick, Perkiomen and Upper Providence Townships.
