PEN ARGYL, Pa. -

Firefighters in Northampton County are trying to get the attention of the people who write the Guinness Book of World Records.

The borough of Pen Argyl held its 75th annual Labor Day Parade Monday afternoon. Parade organizers decided to try to set a Guinness World Record for the "Largest Parade of Emergency Vehicles."

It's is an entirely new category, so that means it's up to the parade participants to set the mark.

There's no word on whether the officials from Guinness have verified Monday's parade as a record-setter.
