A northeastern Pennsylvania newspaper says the last will and testament of veteran Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has been ordered permanently sealed from public view along with all related court filings at the request of an estate attorney.
The Citizen's Voice of Wilkes-Barre says even the order by the Centre County judge and the petition by a Paterno attorney requesting the action have been sealed. The paper says it's the only will sealed in the county in the last 18 months.
A family spokesman tells The Associated Press that the step was intended to preserve ``a measure of privacy'' for the family and was ``not an unusual request for high-profile individuals.''
Paterno amassed a Division 1-record 409 victories in 4{ decades at Penn State. He died from lung cancer in January at age 85.
