The Phillipsburg girls saw a historic season come to an end Tuesday night at the hands of East Orange in the Section championship game.

The Stateliners fell 48-33 to East Orange, the same team that's beaten them each of the past two seasons in the playoffs.  Loren Kaiser scored 4 points before leaving the game with an injury.  Those 4 points were enough to make her the All-Time leading scorer in Phillipsburg history, boys or girls.   Jess Kovatch led P'burg in scoring with 19 points in the game.

The Stateliners finish their season with a 26-3 record.
