Protesters call on Corbett to close corporate tax loopholes
A group of protesters is sending a message to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett on the eve of his budget address in Harrisburg.
Protesters gathered Monday outside Pa. Sen. Pat Browne's office in Allentown to call on Corbett to close corporate tax loopholes.
The group said the move would generate close to $1 billion for the state, which could be used to fund education, infrastructure and health care programs.
Officials in Corbett's office have recently said the governor is working on a spending plan that avoids massive education cuts.
