A former psychiatrist who worked in Lehigh County is facing serious prescription drug charges.

A grand jury has indicted Dr. David Daley on more than 30 charges.

The grand jury alleges that he wrote prescriptions -- without performing examinations -- for people in five counties including Lehigh, Schuylkill and Berks.

Daley was allegedly part of a prescription drug ring involving six other people who are also facing charges.

Daley ran a private practice out of Fogelsville before moving to St. Luke's University Hospital--Bethlehem.
