Reading Area Community College and Temple University are teaming up.

Presidents from both schools signed a dual admissions agreement Tuesday afternoon. That means students who get an associates degree at RACC can transfer to Temple for a four year degree.

Students could even qualify for scholarships if their grades are good.

"It's important for young people in the city to think of Temple as a partner," said Ann Weaver Hart, Temple's president. "Temple has a long standing commitment to access to education for young people who are prepared."

RACC has similar agreements with Albright College and Alvernia, Immaculata, and Widener universities.
