Man accused of raping family friend
A 50-year-old Monroe County man is in jail on charges of assaulting a family friend.
Police said the incident occurred around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Robert Endrikat Jr. of Faratol Road, Middle Smithfield Twp. was friends with the victim's family.
Police said Endrikat talked the victim into coming to his house so the victim could look after the house while Endrikat was out of town.
Endrikat is accused of performing oral sex on the boy against his will, then forcing the boy to perform oral sex on him, police said.
The boy was able to escape and called 911.
His age was not given.
Endrikat was arrested on charges of rape and related offenses.
Bail was set at $50,000.
