A camp that gives youth a close-up look at law enforcement careers is now taking applications for the summer session.
The state police at Hazleton Troop N is now taking applications for its Camp Cadet 2012.
The week-long camp gives young people a better understanding of law enforcement activities in an atmosphere of an actual state police training academy.

Applications are available at any of the following Troop N State Police stations; Hazleton, Bllomsburg, Lehighton, Fern Ridge and Swiftwater.
The application can also be printed from the Pennsylvania State Police website.
Once on the site, click on the Troop/Station information tab on the left hand side.
Then click on Troop N-Hazleton.
The application is on the center of the Troop N page.
Interested applicants can print out the form, fill it out and send it to the address on the application no later than March 31.
Some of the organizations that will provide presentations to the camp include the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service and the state Game Commission.
The camp will run July 22-27 on the campus of Penn State-Hazleton.
