10-yr-old sets fire at Hillcrest Retirement Community in Monroe Co., police say

A 10-year-old set a fire at a retirement community Monday in Monroe County, police said.
State Police at Fern Ridge investigated a suspicious fire at the Hillcrest Retirement Community, 6000 Running Valley Road, Jackson Twp., around noon on Monday.
Residents of the home were evacuated but no one was hurt. The fire was contained to a vacant unit.
After investigating, police charged a 10-year-old boy from Stroudsburg with arson and related offenses.
He was taken to the Lehigh County Detention Center, pending further court action.
