A young man was killed an accident Tuesday evening in Schuylkill County.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. near Brockton Mountain Drive in Ryan Township.

Police say 18-year-old Jonathan Palubinsky of Mahanoy City was killed when he lost control of his car while negotiating a curve. He veered across the road and hit an embankment, then the car rolled.

Officials say Palubinsky was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say there were four other teenagers inside the car at the time of the accidentl one suffered minor injuries. They were all wearing seat belts.
