POLK TWP., Pa. -

A car crash in Carbon County left rush hour traffic at a stand still.

It happened just after 4:30 on Route 209 in Polk Township.

Officials say a car hit a utility pole which then fell across the road taking down wires in the process.

No injuries have been reported but Route 209 has been closed ever since and there's no word yet on when it'll re-open.
