SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. -

Firefighters had their hands full with a fire at the Schuylkill Gun Works Thursday night.

The blaze was reported at about 6:00 p.m. at the gun factory on West Main St. in Schuylkill Haven.

There were three explosions during the fire, fire officials noted, with over 100 firefighters on scene at the height of the inferno.

The fire went to four alarms and damaged four other buildings before being placed, according to crews.

Officials say Cressona Fire, Chief John Woleschok suffered a leg injury when a floor gave way.  He was treated at the hospital and released.

Crews are still investigating what lead to the fire.
