A fatal accident caused officials to close the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 for more than 15 hours.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday around mile marker 295 in Pocono Twp., Monroe County.
County officials said more than four vehicles were involved in the accident.
Killed in the accident was 41-year-old Daniel L. Snyder of Youngstown, Ohio.
According to state police, a tractor trailer hauling pre-fabricated concrete panels lost some of the panels. Another tractor trailer hit one of the panels, and while disabled, a third semi driven by Jason William Osborne, 30, of Port Crane, N.Y., hit the back of the second tractor trailer.
State police are investigating.
The eastbound lanes of I-80 were closed until 6:35 p.m.
