EAST PENN TWP., Pa. -

A Carbon County home was badly damaged when an earlier fire rekindled.

The flames first broke out around 4 a.m. Thursday at a home on Schleicher's Lane in East Penn Township.

Crews were able to douse the flames, but the fire flared up again a few hours later, around 9 a.m.

No injuries were reported and it's not clear if anyone was inside the home at the time.
