2 arrested in Carbon County burglary
Mahoning Township Police arrested two men in connection to a burglary that happened earlier this week.
Officials said a vacant home on Ashtown Drive was burglarized on February 25th.
The investigation led officials to James Ahner, 18, of Lehighton, who police said was already on probation. Ahner was arrested February 28th and placed in Carbon County prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Police also arrested James Wimar, 19, of Lehighton March 1st. He was released on unsecured bail.
Ahner and Wimar are facing felony burglary charges, as well as criminal conspiracy, trespass and more.
Police said a 12-year-old juvenile was also involved in the incidents but has not been charged.
