JIM THORPE, Pa. -

A telephone threat forced the evacuation of the Carbon County Courthouse and annex for a good part of the day Friday, officials said.

The threat was called in around 11:50 a.m. by someone saying there was a bomb in the building, police said.

The courthouse and the annex were evacuated while bomb-sniffing dogs searched the buildings. Nothing was found and the all-clear was given shortly before 4 p.m., police said.

Police said they are investigating leads regarding who called in the threat.
