STROUD TWP., Pa. -

Fire crews had their hands full Friday morning with a house fire in Monroe County.

Flames broke out around 2 a.m. at a home at 228 Phyllis Court in Stroud Township.

The flames apparently started in the garage before spreading into the home.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire in about three hours.

One man was taken to Pocono Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation, officials said.
