Police say the mother/son duo had an indoor marijuana growing setup in house

State police say a mother and son had an indoor marijuana-growing operation at their Monroe County home.

New Jersey State Police arrested Paul A. Rider, 21, of 321 Hazella Road in Jackson Twp., on Sunday around 3:30 p.m., sources say, and he had heroin in his possession as he traveled west on Interstate 80.

NJSP learned Rider had an indoor marijuana grow at his home in Monroe County.

After obtaining a search warrant, Pa. state police found 16 marijuana plants and related indoor growing equipment at the home on Monday around 7:30 p.m.

Both Paul and his 54-year-old mother, Kristin A. Rider, face felony drug manufacturing charges.
