RUSH TWP., Pa. -

National Guard troops from the Lehigh Valley to the coal region are loading up and heading out.

And they're getting quite a send-off.

Around 5:30 Tuesday morning in Hometown, Schuylkill County, north of Tamaqua Company C of the 1st Battalion of the 109th Infantry Regiment headed out for training.

In November or December they'll deploy to Kuwait for about one year.
