COOLBAUGH TWP., Pa. -

Police hope a cash award will help them solve a double homicide in Monroe County.

Last Friday, a Pocono Mountain Regional Police officer discovered two dead men in a Coolbaugh Twp. park while on patrol around 2:30 a.m.

The deceased were identified as Bertoldo Velez, 55, and Joseph King, 38, both from East Stroudsburg.

Velez was found dead on the ground, next to the car. King was found dead inside the car.

Although no arrests have been made, police said it doesn't appear to be a random act of violence.

Monroe County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in this investigation.
