MAHONING TWP., Pa. -

Crews in Carbon County spent much of Wednesday morning fighting a multi-alarm fire.

The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at a house at 52 Todd Lane in Mahoning Township.

The fire went to at least six alarms before firefighters could put it out, officials said.

At least two people were taken to a hospital, but officials had no information about their injuries.

Investigators have not yet determined what sparked the fire.
