POLK TWP., Pa. -

A Kunklestown man is facing assault charges for shooting four rounds into a Monroe County resident’s swimming pool, police say.

Lehighton police say they believe Danall Greenzweig, 29, used a 22 caliber rifle to fire into the pool in the 100 block of Horseshoe Drive, Polk Twp, before running from  into a thick wooded area.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. June 26.

Police were originally unable to locate Greenzweig until he aggressively walked out of the woods toward them.

After refusing to listen to commands, police used a Taser to subdue Greenzweig and take him into custody.

Greenzweig faces charges for assault, reckless endangering and resisting arrest.
