Four kids hit by car in Mount Pocono
Injuries appear to be minor, say police
Four children were hurt when struck by a car Thursday afternoon in Mount Pocono.
Police report injuries appeared to be minor to the unidentified children, ages 5 to 7, who were transported to Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police responded to a report of pedestrians struck by a car about 1:30 p.m. Thursday along Route 611 at Fairview Avenue in Mount Pocono.
Their preliminary investigation determined a Honda CRV driven by 56-year-old Sarah Ginyard of Tobyhanna was traveling north on Route 611 when it struck a family crossing the highway.
Two of the children are 5 years old, one is 6 and one is 7.
Several units from Pocono Mountain Regional EMS responded to the accident.
