Jewelry thief wanted in Carbon County

MAHONING TWP., Pa. -

Authorities in Carbon County say they're on the hunt for a jewelry thief.

The theft happened around 2:00 Wednesday morning at the Mahoning Township Wal-Mart.

Police say a man cut a jewelry display case security cable then made off with about $1,000 worth of jewelry.

He then fled in a vehicle police believe to be a Ford Mustang.

If you have any information about this theft, you're asked to call the police.
