Coroner reports his vehicle went under tractor-trailer

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Twenty-three-year-old Stephen L. Nordmark  of Hamilton Township was killed Thursday evening when his vehicle passed under a tractor-trailer that was entering Business Route 209 in the township.

Nordmark, who lived in Sciota, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:02 p.m. Thursday by Monroe County Coroner Bob Allen.

The victim was driving north on the highway when he struck and passed under the trailer portion of the tractor-trailer.

Allen did an autopsy Friday, but results have not yet been released.

State police at Swiftwater responded to the accident, along with West End Ambulance EMS and Blue Ridge Hook & Ladder.
