One of the most popular places to celebrate the Fourth in Carbon County filled up fast Thursday morning.

The scene at Beltzville State Park showed long lines as people waited to get in to start their holiday celebrations.

The park opened up at 8 a.m. and it was filled to capacity a short time later.

The 3,000 acre sits at the southern foothills of the Poconos and is a popular location for boating, hiking, swimming and picnicking.
