Police: Pet owner charged after dogs kill cat on neighbor's property
Police in the Poconos say charges are being filed against a pet owner whose dogs attacked and killed a cat on a neighboring property.
Police say it happened Friday morning in the 7500 block of Mt. Eaton Road in the Saylorsburg section of Ross Township.
According to police, Penny Connelly, 53, failed to keep her dogs confined to her property. While on the loose, the dogs killed a cat belonging to a neighbor.
Connelly is being charged with a dog law violation, police said.
Police did not specify the number of dogs that attacked the cat.
