A man, wanted in Virginia for several crimes, was arrested in Frackville after police responded to a domestic disturbance call.

The call came from an apartment building on Water street, New Philadelphia Borough at 1 a.m, about an altercation between a man and a woman.

When troopers arrived, they were told the man had fled from the scene on foot.

Police said they later found the man, 29-year-old Donald Arthur Foote Jr., on SR209 near Clay street.

After police positively identified him, they discovered that active criminal warrants were issued for his arrest from the State of Virginia by the Virginia Beach Police Department.

The warrants included Felony Grand Larceny, Felony Statutory Burglary and Felony Failure to Appear.

Foote was later arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Plachko and bail was set at 50, 000.00-straight, pending extradition back to Virginia.
