He is in the Monroe County Correctional Facility. Bail has been set at $25,000.
The suspect resides at 24 Upper Lakeview Road, East Stroudsburg
At 6:15 a.m. July 2, state police trooper Gregory Emiliani investigated an assault that had occurred at a cemetery on Sand Hill Road in Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County.
The police officer met with the victim, Amanda Jean Peters, who was visibly shaken and disraught. She had cuts and scrapes on her forearms and left leg.
Peters said she was visiting the grave of a friend when Hill showed up and smashed the driver side window of her 1999 Honda Civic and pulled her out of the car through the broken window, causing her injuries. He dragged her to his car and threw her into the back seat.
As Hill began to drive away, the victim got out of his car, ran to her car and escaped. She drove to a Turkey Hill Mini-Market, where she called police.
The victim told police she and the suspect "have had prior relations" and recently Hill had been following her "everywhere she goes," including to work.
