Officials: Lansford fire an arson investigation

LANSFORD, Pa. -

Officials in Carbon County said a fire that happened in the borough of Lansford is actually an arson.

It happened in the 300 block of West Patterson Street around 10:30pm Friday.

Police believe someone set this home's back porch on fire sometime around 10:30pm.

Heavy damage was done to the house, some neighboring houses suffered minor damage.

Officials said no one was hurt.

Lansford and State Police say an investigation is on-going.
