Pair charged in theft from scrap metal business in North Manheim

Two people conspired to bilk a scrap metal business in Schuylkill County out of more than $500,000, state police said.
An employee at Weiner Iron and Metal on Route 61 in North Manheim Township overpaid a scrap dealer for coppe, police said.
The employee paid the dealer more than $614,000 between February 2011 and December of last year, police said.
The employee was Sharon Mullin, 46, and the dealer was Chester Caldwell Jr., 31, police said. Both have been charged with theft and conspiracy.
