Paraglider in fair condition following crash
A paraglider who went for a wild ride in Carbon County is on the mend.
Gene Gleason of Hoboken, New Jersey is in fair condition after a crash Sunday at Blue Mountain Ski Area.
Fellow paragliders say Gleason hit an unstable pocket of warm air, a thermal, and that likely caused his crash.
He suffered scrapes and bruises after falling about 150 feet.
His friends were left to pack up his parachute.
