Re-invest to re-invent: that's the new plan for the Poconos.

Monday was the 20th annual Tourism Day for the Poconos.

The day was celebrated with an awards ceremony at Mount Airy Casino resort.

Several local industry leaders spoke out at the conference including Kalahari Resorts owner Todd Nelson and Arthur Berry, the president of Camelback Mountain.

They say the tourism industry in the Poconos is making a comeback and pointed to a half-billion dollars' worth of recent development as proof.
