Police in Carbon County say they've arrested a man who fooled emergency rooms into giving him pain pills.
Police say James Jones, 33, of Lehighton and his girlfriend, Naomi Ellison, used fake identities to score pills at hospitals in Lehigh, Carbon and Schuylkill Counties.
Police say Jones illegally obtained Lorcet, a Schedule II narcotic, from Lehighton Hospital on Friday.
Then Jones, Ellison, and her three children walked two miles to fill the prescription, police said.
Jones faces various felony charges while charges are pending against Ellison.
