Police: Speed, black ice, factor in crash

MAHONING TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

In Carbon County, police said speed played a factor in a crash in Mahoning Township.

Officials said the van hit a patch of black ice on Route 902 and ended up in a stream on the side of the road Sunday morning.

Police said the car was going well over the speed limit.

No one was seriously hurt.
