Robert Burns running for magisterial judge

A Monroe County native has announced plans to run for the position of Magisterial District Judge.
Robert E. Burns of Henryville is a candidate for district court for Barrett, Paradise and Price townships.
He is currently a detective with the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney. He's also a lead field agent of the Monroe County Drug Task Force.
Burns supervises eight employees as director of thte Monroe County DUI program and central processing center.
He previously was a police officer in the Barrett Twp. police department.
