Monroe County's Tobyhanna Army Depot is talking about the consequences of the sequester; the mandatory federal spending cuts.
Tobyhanna faces a $309 million reduction of its $873 million budget.
That's roughly 35 percent.
Officials say they'll have to furlough civilian employees for 22 non-consecutive days, without pay, from late April through September.
Tobyhanna employs more than 5,100 civilians.
The depot was already facing a declining workload.
Officials say 150 employees have chosen to retire early.
Tobyhanna is the military's largest electronics maintenance facility.
