Woman rescued after being pinned under car in Penn Forest Twp.

Emergency crews had to rescue a woman from underneath her car after an accident in Carbon County.

Police say a woman was trapped under her vehicle after an accident at her home in Penn Forest Township around 11:00 Wednesday morning.

This is north of Jim Thorpe.

Police say they believe the woman thought her car was in park when it wasn't.

Police say she got caught under the car's front tire when it started moving.

Eventually, she was freed and flown to the hospital.

There's no word on her condition.
