A Mahoning Township police officer rescued an 81-year-old woman from inside a burning home on Oak Grove Drive late Saturday night. The officer was able to get her out of the house which was filled with smoke. The resident, however, ran back into the house to try and save some of her belongings. The officer was forced to go back inside and rescue her from the house, according to police. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
Officials said the driver slammed into four cars between Cedar Crest Boulevard and 15th Street.
