Monroe Co. DA: No criminal charges in target shooting incidient where bullet hit Resica Falls Elementary School

MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP., Pa. -

Investigators in Monroe County say no charges will be filed in connection with a target shooting incident where a bullet hit a school.

The district attorney's office says no criminal negligence existed and no charges are warranted in an incident at Resica Falls Elementary School in Middle Smithfield Township.

A bullet hit the window of a second grade classroom on April 11th.

Investigators say it came from a target shooting site a half-mile away.

No one was hurt.
