TANNERSVILLE, Pa. -

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday at Mountain View Park in Tannersville for the "Crossing Abilities" playground.

It's designed to be accessible for all types of kids, including those with disabilities.

"We also have dual slides, that allow children to slide down together in case they don't have the strength to hold themselves up, we have harnesses for the swing sets," said Michael Tukeva, the executive director of the Pocono Alliance.

Plenty of children were already out enjoying the new playground Friday.
