Residents in eastern Lancaster County were picking up tree limbs and debris after an afternoon of rough weather, that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage and knocked out power.

Neighbors say the storms passed through around 4 p.m. on Monday.

A large wood shed near Paradise Lane was blown to the ground.

Neighbors say a 52-year-old farmer was inside the shed at the time it fell to the ground.

PPL trucks could be seen in the area racing to restore power to homes left in the dark.

EMA of Lancaster County was also out surveying the damage just south of Paradise Township.
