        READING, Pa. -

Hundreds of the most wanted people in Berks County will be on full display in your Sunday paper this weekend.

And the Berks County Sheriff's Department is gearing up for your tips.

The first most wanted publication in February led to a flood of tips and dozens of arrests.

We caught Jonathan Montanez in Texas, said Sheriff Eric Weaknecht. That tip came into Crime Alert. We worked with our United States Marshals Task Force. They sent someone to the house, sat on the house, got him in custody, no problems, brought him back here. And he is awaiting hearings right now.

Weaknecht estimates about 75 people were arrested the first time around.

It was greater than what I expected, which is really good, said Weaknecht. And we're hoping we get even better results with this one.

The second edition is slightly different.

Those wanted for homicide are on the cover. Everyone else is listed in alphabetical order and given a number.

We had a lot of people calling in the person we're looking for by a nickname, said Weaknecht, and then it really made it hard for us to find out which one they were talking about.

They'll also have many more people working Sunday.

We didn't realize the impact it would have on day one, said Weaknecht. So we only had our booking deputies here. Our phone was ringing off the hook with the tips and they didn't get to those tips until the next morning.

Weaknecht said if you recognize anyone and call in a tip, you won't speak to a person.

They talk to a voicemail, said Weaknecht. We do not ask their name. We don't ask for a call back number. We don't care who it is that's calling. We will never subpoena them. Chances are we'll never even talk to them.

Weaknecht said deputies will start acting on the tips right away. And they're hoping 100 more people will be behind bars after this weekend.

The number to call in your tip to the Berks County Sheriff's Department is 610-478-6390.

Crime Alert Berks County's number is 877-373-9913.
