BETHEL TWP., Pa. -

A record number of cars took part in the annual Kauffman's Chicken Car Show Classic in Bethel Township, Berks County.

Car enthusiasts got to enjoy some good food and help raise money for a good cause.

Participants pay a registration fee and that money will be donated to a local charity.

"It's obviously, based on 608 cars, a lot of people are into it," said Ronald Rhode, organizer. "And it's something the Kauffmans themselves are into, so it's spun into a great event. It's been growing ever since we started, about 12 years now."

Miller-Keystone was also on hand accepting blood donations in Bethel Township.
