This weekend, many soccer enthusiasts in Orefield are combining their love of the game with helping others.

They are getting psyched and hitting the field.

"With all the refs and all the whistles going on you don't know which one is the right one," said Gabemeoli Packer.

Soccer is serious business for these kids..

"We're hoping we're gonna win and just trying our best," said Michael Mittl

You play different teams that you don't get to play in your league," said Peter Hnat.

But winning isn't everything at the Kids Peace Soccer invitational.

The annual event is benefiting a special web site geared at helping kids face tough issues.

"The best part about teencentral.net is it's anonymous, it's safe and it's free," said Julius Licata.

Teen Central.net allows kids to submit questions and get answers from counselors within 24 hours.

The site gets more than a million hits a month and has tackled issues like weight awareness, smoking cessation and teen violence.

Subjects that may one day face some of the tournament's players.

So while these kids are playing a game they love, they are also helping others.

"This is a chance for our boys to do that I don't even know if they know how much they are helping out with," said David Arechiga.

Kids Peace organizers said while the tournament is helping teens, it also speaks to the heart of it's mission; bringing families together.
