States score money from foreclosure settlement
PA gets foreclosure money
Pennsylvania and New Jersey are getting millions of dollars each as part of a nationwide foreclosure settlement.
Pennsylvania is getting about $266 million and New Jersey will collect $762 million.
The payouts are part of a lawsuit filed in connection with mortgage practices that led to foreclosures.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly says the money will help homeowners who are facing foreclosure and borrowers who lost their homes.
