Still no redistricting map
Still no word on redistricting map
Potential candidates for office in Pennsylvania are still waiting to find out what district they will be running for in the upcoming elections.
The state Supreme Court was expected to issue a recommendation Tuesday on what to do to replace the map that was tossed out last week, but no recommendation was made.
The court could decide to use the maps that were drawn up in 2001, or tell lawmakers to come up with a new one.
Republican state House Speaker Sam Smith has filed an appeal in federal court to prevent the use of the old map.
