Students display pinwheels to promote peace
Students at Governor Mifflin High School are doing their part to promote peace.
They're participating in the Pinwheels for Peace project. It's an international effort that was started by two teachers in Florida.
The idea is for students to create their own pinwheels to express their feelings about what's going on in the world and in their lives.
"I hope it makes people in our school curious about what we're doing and really gets people to ask what can i do to make a difference," said Candace Ebersole, junior.
The pinwheels are on display outside the high school.
