Students test ingenuity in statewide design competition
Students from across Pennsylvania got to test their ingenuity today at a design competition in Reading.
They took part in Project Lead the Way at the GoggleWorks. Students were given a problem and worked together to find a solution.
The event was held to spark students' interest.
"The goal of it is to increase the number of students and the engineering, engineering technology and are shortage of engineers and technicians in this country," said Tom Weiss.
Project Lead The Way is a non-profit organization involving more than 4,000 schools from across the nation.
